Start with the real workflow
Understand how the client currently works before deciding what should be automated.
KumulAwards is being developed to give organisations a clearer and more controlled way to run award entries, judging and final decisions.
Awards programs are often managed through separate forms, spreadsheets, email threads, shared folders and manual reports. That makes progress difficult to track and increases the chance of missed requirements, inconsistent judging and incomplete records.
KumulAwards brings those steps together through branded entry, judging and administration portals supported by role-based access and a central platform.
Understand how the client currently works before deciding what should be automated.
Entrants, judges, client administrators and platform support should not share the same permissions.
Important progress, deadlines and completion information should be available without manual follow-up.
Changes should be validated, committed, deployed carefully and backed up.
Client branding and configuration should be reusable without copying and rewriting the whole platform.
Awards management comes first. Other program types should be added only after the awards platform is stable.
KumulAwards is being developed as a dedicated awards-management platform, with its own public brand and client experience.
The platform is initially focused on organisations in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific while remaining suitable for clients in other markets.
We will examine the real process, identify the risks and map the platform around the needs of the organisation.
